OMG!!!!

I can not believe that I have not blogged since september!!!
where did the time go????
things have been crazy but, Oh well isnt it always ,,, for everyone???
we are in the new house and there has been so much to do, just got the kitchen set up and , spilled bannana bread dough in the BRAND new oven !!!!! talk about curses!!
oh well, spent about 3 hours cleaning it up today.
The bread was really good though!! Ha!!
it is so nice to be in our new home, it is not new, just new to us.
it is just the right size, one bedroom with a , study for Hubby and a studio for me. , ( the study does double duty , guest room also.)
I am looking forward to spending time with my Father and sisters in AZ, next month!!
I miss them so much!!

I made this liner for my daughters kitty bed, she is such a pretty kitty I will try to get a picture of her in it to show you. I used two different tshirts, ( recycled!) my daughters fav color.

This is my page for the breast cancer awareness book. I put my parents picture on the front because they have shown me so much courage, in the face of their illness. It is incredibly hard to explain the the pain of cancer on all of our lives, i do not know anyone who has not been affected.

Close to the wire

Well it is getting close to the wire, moving day that is.
everything is in boxes and my creativity is on hold ,it will be at least a couple of weeks till I will be able to unpack and make something, can't wait!
I will miss Rocky Point so much , I hoped to live here always. but life is always throwing a new curve and I must bend with it!
I will post some pictures of RP soon and you will see how much I love its rustic charm.

I have to say i will surely miss my home here. It has been such a sweet place to come to . Time changes everything and I know that we will be just fine wherever we go but I sure will miss this place!

Going Fast

Well,
It happened.... The house is in attorney review. if all goes well we will be out of our house the
end of July! it all happened so fast!!
The couple who are buying are so young, I am so glad. We have lived here for 13 yrs and have been so happy here, I hope they will be happy here too.
I will have to stop some of my swaps and be somewhat in the shadows for awhile as I have soo much to pack!!
any way, It is a new and exciting time for me and the sweet ole Man!

Not Good

This is not good........ I have not posted in so long.

Things are changing very quickly and I am not keeping up!

We had an offer on our house and The decision to counter offer is pretty vexing.

Really i do not want to sell at all but I know it is for the best. so I will adapt as I always have !

On another note, The yard looks great! all of the flowers are blooming and While it is not alot, It is still pretty. We had a "consolidated Birthday party" , (5 in our family have birthdays within 20 days) so we just have 1 party! It is a lot of fun!

Here is a picture of my grandchildren in the backyard. They are my joy and delight!

They sent the day looking for and catching catapillers.

I tried, and I will!!!! .... keep trying, photos are not my strong point.
I remember, I used to take shots of feet, and the sky, and then everyone told me Stop! .... and now here we go again . I hope the photo god will smile upon me and my good intentions and Presto MagicO... POOF! an award winning photo will appear!!!
At christmas I was in a swap with "Barneys Blue" She takes such beautiful pictures, what a talent!
I am needed in the kitchen, Bill is cooking supper..
